FBW Dev Update: Introducing the Native MSFS 2024 A380X
if the smoke detectors in the LAV at L5 always go off with deodorant being sprayed, the galley food cart chillers are always broken, the crew rest oxygen warning light is always coming on, and more importantly the drivers think their astronaughts/diva's when it comes from asking for "some cheese from first class" or their meals right in the middle of the first service, or timing you on the 30 min welfcare checks.... then yes it will be very realistic.....

More heat and humidity on the way
yup. one million kids not being educated this week due to the Union. On one hand it boils my blood as back in 1976 when it hit these temps the schools stayed open, the teachers did their jobs. On the other hand I was down on the coast yesterday in Devon and it was packed !! The local businesses were doing a roaring trade so why not give the kids a week off and let some people earn some well needed money over the summer boom period. and who'd of guessed it. The standby coverage at my airline this week and last week has been terrible. No childcare.

I can beat that. I live in an apartment in a Georgian listed Building that was built between 1793 and then finished in 1805 (due to the financial crisis at that time) due to the French declaring war on Britain. In short the builders went bankrupt and others were reluctant to take on new projects. Hence why it took so long finish Alas its got lovely thick walls and nice big bay windows, Which if you want to change them you have to do it in the dead of night or a Sunday so the council dont see. It keeps the heat out in the summer and the warmth in the winter, Ive often said to people the only way Id move out of it would be in a box. I agree with you about new builds. I was round a friends yesterday and it was like a furnace.

Seeking IRL pilot advice Fenix vs FSLabs?
Sorry to bump but a really good example of an MEL is this one ive got this morning which the engineers have tried to fix but failed, hence why the MEL is there

Paying attention to the World Cup?
Yes and no. Our defence was rubbish. A friend of mine used to be a physiotherapist assigned to a few players on the England team (and strictly come dancing pros) about 10 - 15 years ago. she was (and I imagine still is) one of the top physios in the UK , 2 degrees and a masters from Loughborough to boot, she easily used to charge a grand an hour to fix their injuries, 2 grand if it was an emergency call. The pro dancers from Strictly took it very seriously at 1000 quid a go, they are not as well paid as footballers, but if a 1000 quid kept you in work for a year on the show and the pro dancing scene the dancers quite happily paid it The footballers however were a different story, in short they didn’t give a toss. They would no show to appointments, wouldn’t follow any guidance or plans she gave them and then moaned when they tore their ACL , she used to say to me “I’m not surprised they never win, when they can’t be bothered to turn up at the clinics, bunch of overpaid fools”
