May 28, 201412 yr So, how is it? What doesn't work? Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
May 28, 201412 yr Haven't had much chance to fly it yet.... But it feels pretty nice and of course visibility is pretty good. It's nice they released two aircraft in one--the RG and the Fixed Gear. Over all, like most steam guage aircraft Carenado and/or Alabeo make I like it. Can't vouch for how close it feels to the real thing since I don't spend a lot of time trying to see if all the numbers match up. John
May 28, 201412 yr I followed up my flight around Mt. Shasta with a cross country flight from Napa to Reno, with a stop in Vacaville. I really enjoyed the flight--nice to have something a bit faster in cruise than the 172 and it flew well down to a nice smooth landing.... And again, incredible views, something the Cardinal is noted for... I'll post some follow-up screenshots later. Actually three models are included--the popup configurator allows the wheelpants to be removed, so one has a choice of flying with wheelpants, without or the RG version with a believable pilot's POV while flying.
