I've been considering trying out the DX10 fixer, mainly for the cockpit shadows, but a few questions:

 

1. Currently I fly PMDG, Majestic, A2A, and RealAir. Do cockpit shadows work in all of these?

 

2. Can I use 32xS AA with DX10 like I can with DX9?

 

3. Are there still any significant compromises with DX10 even after Steve's hard work and the Fixer tool?

I just made the switch myself about a week ago and know for a fact that shadows do not work in the NGX.  I'm not sure about the Q400 as I haven't flown it yet since switching and don't have any of A2A or RealAir.

 

I'm not sure about 32xS AA either, sorry.

 

I was afraid of what issues I'd see too but so far, the only thing I've noticed is the yellow parking areas with Aerosoft's ENGM v2 at night.  This can be fixed by turning off one of the transparency settings I believe.  Other than that, I have not noticed any issues.  I'm glad I switched.  No OOM's yet since switching either.
