Editing scenery objects from inside of the simulator would allow many to start populating their areas of interest / airports, etc...

 

I wonder if such an approach could be used with the present structure of X-Plane 10 ?

+1, it would be great to be able to edit scenery directly from within X-Plane without continually reloading the scenery, etc.. OverLayEditor is pretty good and it's possible to create scenery quickly with it, but it's sometimes hard to get the placements exactly as you want

+1  would be a great tool to have for xplane
