Opened ASN this AM (June 6)and checked weather at KAVL.  All METARS are headed by 28 and show (of course) wrong weather.  FSX real world weather shows correctly (low visibility and fog).

 

What's wrong ???

Check your PC clock and also make sure you are in Live mode and not Manual mode.

That must have been it.  ASN was in manual weather mode.  Don't know how it got changed, because it has always been up to date.

ASN goes to Manual weather mode any time it is open and cannot connect to the internet. It seems to stay in Manual mode till prompted by the user to switch back to Live monde.

 

Annoying for me, because my ADSL internet connection drops out (0kbps for more than 30 seconds) commonly enough to be a pretty close to daily occurrence.
