NI@58 limit combined with adaptive vsync

Featured Replies

Well i had very very good smoothneeth in FSX using these settings so i gave it a try in P3DV2.2 and for the first time i can minimize the stutter BELOW 24fps.

Above 24fps and this is so smooth like i have never seen before.

I do have EVGA PrecisionX at 30fps limit but as you can see the fps still jumbs up and down but with great results.

Only dowside so far to limiting the fps at 58 in NI is when you undock panels the fps is cut in half but i never do that with GA aircraft anyway.

Wow , FSDT CYVR,ORBX PNW

Awesome shots, Michael, really showing off the lighting advances in P3Dv2. I'll definitely try out the EVGA settings as well. FSDT CYVR kills my performance, to the point of having to turn the cloud shadows, and HDR, off. I'd rather do without FSDT.

  Cheers, Jazz.

Don't forget that EVGA Precision X has to be active in the background if you use it. One can also nicely monitor different parameter of the GPU like load, temperature etc. It's also very helpful to control the fan speed of the GPU.

I got a copy of Precision X with my EVGA GTX670, and have been using it to monitor my gpu speed, load, and temps. Pretty cool utility, and the overclocking interface is so easy to use. Unfortunately I haven't had time this weekend for flying.

 Cheers, Jazz
