Hi 

 

I have active sky next on my pc for fsx but whenever I fly through cloud my fsx lags a lot in vc view ?

 

I get 30 FPS locked when not flying through cloud normally.

 

Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix the lag issue through clouds

 

Specs: Core i5 4670k,8GB RAM,DX10,Water cooling,GTX 760 OC,Windows 8.1

Do you use the DX10 Fixer?

I do yes 

Be sure that AA for clouds is off in the settings.

It smooths the edges of the clouds so that they do not appear jagged. Disabling it relieves stress from the GPU and allows the framerate to go up.

Doesn't hurt to try. You can also try going into windowed mode and reducing the size of the window to about half the fullscreen size to increase the overall framerate while you are going through the cloud.

I dont know why it lags with my specs though its strange.
