Forgive my ignorance

Guys

As this topic suggests I have to ask a very stupid question!

I have not seriously used FS2 Crew before and certainly not any voice control.

I have the Q400 though again not flown it a lot so far (that will change soon!).

My rather stupid question is the most basic of all. Does voice control mean exactly that? In other words if I were to read out the checklist does the virtual First Officer carry out all the actions or are they split between Captain and First Officer?

I am considering buying this product but when I read the product information and even watch the video it isn't obvious (at least to an ageing virtual pilot) who actually is carrying out the checklist functions.

Again apologies for the silly question but a simple explanation of the basics of the product would be helpful.

I will be grateful for any replies!

Hi Tony,

There's no such thing as a stupid question  B)

For the checklists, we copied Colgan checklists, and from what I understand FlyBe and a lot of the major Euro carries use very similar SOPs since they're based off the original aircraft SOPs.

You would run through the checklists exactly the same way the Capt/PF at Colgan would have.

It's a very interactive process.  A lot of it is split.

If you want realism, this is it.

Cheers,

Sounds good. I may have a crack at that whilst the price is reduced plus I have some Just Flight Rewards to spend.

Thanks Bryan!
