June 18, 201411 yr This is for the pilots that don’t know if LE can be out maneuvered on a CM mission. I was on a CM mission when I was intercepted at about 26+ nm out. :shok: I imminently started evasive maneuvers to get away from it. At one time it was within .5nm of me, but I managed to increase the distance. When I had managed to increase the distance to 4nm I went to auto pilot and started to take SS. This 1st shot I got all the names in and the 2nd I got all of the nm from me. In this shot LE is 24.1nm and my Destination is 29.5nm. I am circling around my destination to put LE further away from me then it. I now have LE farther from me then my destination. The top reading is always the LE in this case. I think the rest of the shots are self-explanatory. If you are not watching the FIFA world cup soccer games, It a good day to fly, A very good day to all! J. R.
June 18, 201411 yr There are 4 possibilties to escape. At least it did work out for me several times. -Immediate maneuver in the opposite direction. -Fly faster than 165 kts (C-46) -Follow the terrain. Sometimes the police plane hits a mountain and is decelerated. -Land behind a mountain and leave the plane. But the best way is to avoid the police. Just don`t fly the direct route. The police plane is flying patrol in direct line between the airports +-5NM
June 18, 201411 yr Jack, you delinquent! You know that all of this can be used against you in a court of law. Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
June 19, 201411 yr Author @ Steve, you are not trying hard enough. @ Heimi, On a CM that I ran (5 times) just before this one, I had a hit just as I was entering a canyon. I was down on the deck through it and shortly after I came out at the other end I was intercepted and he locked on to me. I did a 180 and headed back into the canyon,(this was a really tight canyon) and he stayed with me all the way through it. At the other end, I made another 180 and headed back in. (I was in the CC) I founded a spot to set down, and looking back and up at his tag, it stayed at that spot? I tried to taxi out of the canyon, and in crossing a stream I was crashed. The one other way that I think that you can beat it is to go up above 10,000 ft. (when I did this I was in the Maule) I've only dune this once, so I'm not sure about this. B) @ Luis, you left out "Jack, you (OLD)delinquent!" :LMAO: J. R.
