June 19, 201411 yr Sounds like your dll.xml file is missing the entry for the hud. Best solution is to submit a ticket to PMDG with a copy of the dll.xml and they will sort it out for you. Messing with it yourself could cause further anguish. The file is located in C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX. Submit the ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com/Main/frmTickets.aspx but you must be logged in first. William Hall
June 19, 201411 yr Check the CLR button located lower left below the HGS control panel on the center console. The green LED above the button should be unlit to activate the HGS display. If the dll.xml file entry is missing or corrupt you won't get the head's up display at all. Edited June 19, 201411 yr by RickB1293 Rick Bertz
June 20, 201411 yr As a last resort before writing a ticket, check the HUD brightness setting (on top of the HUD arm). If in manual mode, it may be turned down all the way. Al
