Moving Flight Simulator X Files to new location

Featured Replies

I have installed FSX on my D: drive, but my Flight Simulator X Files folder has been installed at C:\Users\Peter\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files (and I don't recall seing an option to put it somewhere else during installation). It is possible to move it off my C: drive?

Hi Peter,

If you're referring to your flight simulator x flight plans FSX looks for those  on your C; drive in the documents folder. I would suggest leaving them there. Hope this helps

The files are small, so it shouldnt be too much of an issue. You could probably make a Symbolic link to another location, but really its not worth it.

Hello Ed,

Thank you. If all else fails, I shall do that, but I would prefer to have them (and all other non-operating system stuff) on D:
