June 21, 201411 yr Hi guys, From my beginning at simulation, i was dreaming to have a great realistic look on my simulator, so i decide to spent couple of money buying the most better hardware possible to make my computer ready to go for my simulator, including a Formula V Extreme system board, intel i7 3770, an Nvidia Gtx 670 4gb, 8gb ddr3 , a 60" lg 1920 res, joysticks, throttle quadrant, etc etc etc... I went so happy to build my new simulator and i didnt realize that i was about to drive under the most sad deception in my life and is that my FSX still looking really bad :( and i dont know what to do now after all those spent money... Did i wrong? Theres any way to fix this situation? I will really appreciate the help that anybody could give me. Note: im new on all of this :)

But my problem increasing the settings is that my fps still going down! Also i dont know if DX11 is working the same way as DX10 because im running windows 8.1 and not windows 7 as other sim users with great graphics :/
June 25, 201411 yr FSX is a dx10 software, it does not use dx11. From the missing water textures, I'd say your settings are too high, your gpu is unable to keep up. In Nvidia inspector try reducing the Sparse grid super sampling to 4x instead of 8x. SGSS adds quite a bit of extra workload to your gpu. regards, Jazz.
