Crash after repair installation.

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Yesterday I did a repair installation for FSX (with the disks).

Now when I start FSX it chrashes after a few seconds.

It says: 'a fatal error has occurred.'

And after that it says 'FSX has stopped working.'

I don't have time to reinstall FSX and ALL the addons.

Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling FSX completely?

kind regards, Jorrit..

You need to post the crash report from AppCrashView - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html so we can take a look at what might have caused the crash.

When you repaired the installation, did you repair FSX/Acceleration or did you repair FSX, then SP1 and then SP2? The attempt at repairing might have been more damaging as it may not have been a problem with FSX but with an addon.
