Do not see GNS 430/530 on Instrument Panel

Featured Replies

I purchased GNS 430/530 Simulation and I do not see it appear on the panel of the C172 Minsdstar version.

I do see it as a pop up window under Views à Instrument Panel à GNS Panel.

I would expect it to be on the instrument panel as well. Is it supposed to be on the panel or just as a pop-up?

Do I need to set it in the panel myself or is it supposed to be in the panel after installation.

I did receive an email back from support stating this. I understand that Mindstar only adds a pop-up.

I have been able to add the GNS430 into a panel but having an issue with adding a pop-up. I used the same configuration that was added to the C172 but when I lick on the pop-up, it crashes.

Is there any way to determine what is causing this?

I figured it out. I needed to change the instance of the pop up to 2.

Ed one more question.

When I bring up pop-up window, the GNS430 display goes blank on the panel. It behaves the same on the VC and the 2D panel.

When I close the pop-up it reappears.

It seems that the gps will only display on one window at a time.

The VC instance is 1, the pop-up instance is 2 and the 2D panel instance is 3.

Is this expected behaviour?

I'm not Ed, but yes that is the way it is designed.
