Well i managed to complete second flight (YMML-OTHH which is a 14 hours flight) without OOM! I did as suggested:

 

1. tml to 2048

2. mesh down from 100 to 75.

 

however i avoided switching to see wing views often also and did not encounter rough weather at all so i'm thinking this may play a part..i'll try a few more flights and will report if anything.

I think this was documented or maybe I read somewhere that constantly changing views increases the VAS and could result in OOM
