Hi there. Since i have been using FSX i have never got OOM before at all but just did my first flight with PMDG77W and 2 OOMs in my first flight? Is there something going on? I reformatted my com before this also and installed everything from scratch again. Never really had that much problem before SP and 77W. Please help thanks. Here's my spec and cfg. any advice would be appreciated.

Except for your affinity mask and HIGHMEMFIX settings I would try a new fsx.cfg and start from there.

Try TextureMaxLoad=2048 also, you can't visually see the difference between 2048 and 4096

I have had two of them with two flights. Cannot use taxi camera at all and still get them flying with addon airport scenery. Frame rates are good and did not have this issue with the original 200.

so it's not just me then. glad to hear but not glad that this is happening! FPS seems to be okay i think. only made 1 flight. but taxi cam i tried and it halved my fps! no way it is friendly fps. not fuss about that since i use EZDOK and i set one external view behind nose wheel and use it when parking the 777.

Try disabling it

Try changing the sound options. I changed to 22kHz interior and 5.1 exterior sounds and that seemed to fix it although not tested thoroughly yet.

I dont get OOM error anymore since I started disabling all but the 2 airports I'm using. My TML is set to 4096, all sliders to the right except water mid 2x, scene complexity at very dense and autogen at dense.

I'm constantly monitoring my VAS using process explorer. Landing at some of the most demanding scenery like AS Thessoniki and Uk200 EGLL, I usually have about 3.6gb. Only time it goes up is if I'm constantly change views. The only scenery I cant fly with the 777 is Drzwecki NYX. That is a killer

If I remember correctly PMDG said from start the taxi view was going to be a heavy hitter due to all the rendering and whatnot.

This is even in the docs.

It does help to make the screen smaller.

I thought the default was the lower quality sounds and the 5.1's were an extra download.  If that is not correct then I can change it because I don't have 5.1 on my computer.
