July 21, 201411 yr Author Well, if we are comparing size here....Mine's 39.1GB. This is small in comparison to others out there! I see...well, I have the FSX 2010 download version. I'd imagine that if all the .zip file and its 5 container sub-files did not extract properly, then when I ran the unwrapper program, and installer, something would have told me that it was an incomplete, or corrupted install...and would not continue to my successful finish. I just installed this to my Addon Scenery folder for both FSX and P3D. I have not fired up either program yet..to add the folder to the Scenery Lib. Will do so now. I hope it all went well. The folder that the installer program wrote, came in at 22.9 GB. Wish me luck....
July 21, 201411 yr Administrators Maybe I misinterpreted your question. Exactly what is FSX2010? I saw some funky download from a site call Softonic, but that looked HIGHLY questionable. July 21, 201411 yr Author Sounds OK to me. Mine shows 23.2GB. Doug Isn't that interesting..that we all have a different folder size. Of course we all might have a different version of the product. Again, mine is for the Flight Sim Store downloadable for FSX, that finished out at 22.9 GB. It's working great inside FSX, and am most satisfied with the outcome.
July 21, 201411 yr The size will vary according to the HDD. Things like fragmentation percentage, cluster size, etc. all have an effect. The only thing that matters is that they are close. Doug Thanks Doug..good deal. I was a bit antsy about whether all files had installed as they should....., as I had a challenging install. I don't know why..but am way past that, and onto the happy-dance....
