For whatever reason, I had huge issues with DX10 fixer that resulted in similar issues to the OP.

 

I re installed FSX and stuck with DX9 and everything is fine again.

 

Not blaming the DX10 fixer, but for me it just didnt have good results no matter what settings I tried and I didnt want to be messing around trying to figure out why when I knew my DX9 version worked consistently.

 

P3D gives me my DX11 fix now anyway.. B)
