March 28, 200521 yr Hi,actually these are the same product. "World Airports" is a collection of airport sceneries made by Simflyers. Anyway, everything from Simflyers is fantastic but it can be hard on frame rates. You can download the demo of DFW from their webpages and decide. I doubt there is anything better as freeware.
March 28, 200521 yr Personally, I use the default. I actually think it's pretty good. I use a really great AFCAD with it. I own the Simflyers DFW, but even with my fast rig it's slow. So I just don't use it. I still want performance.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
March 28, 200521 yr Yep, default here as it was redone to a higher standard for FS9 and as mentioned, the Simflyers one kills performance. I live 6 miles from there and was thrilled to have the updated version for FS9, it's pretty good for default (and not a slideshow as before! LOL)I would LOVE a detailed version of Addison airport as it is more a corporate one and I fly bizjets into it quite a bit.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
March 29, 200521 yr Hi Michael, I live in Arlington, and was wondering if you know of any good place for plane spotting at DFW? Thanks.Leo
March 29, 200521 yr Well you can always go to Founders Plaza on the SE corner of the airport. It is close to the old Delta hangar. Other than that, anywhere you stop around the airport, you may draw the attention of the airport police.
