August 27, 201411 yr Administrators FSX by itself or do you have Acceleration also? If no Acceleration, did you install Sp1 and Sp2? If all else fails, there are addons that help with sun flare and sun/moon water reflections. August 27, 201411 yr Just in case you didn't know: lens flare only shows up in external views. Internal views don't have lens flare.

It does not depend upon Acceleration, SP1, or SP2.
