August 20, 201411 yr I get a Simconnect error and none of my controls work with this two planes. I checked and Do have SImConnect installed. Any ideas?
August 20, 201411 yr Moderator Try installing a second version. Don't have it in front of me but P3D has several versions that you can install in the folders. DO NOT uninstall an old version - just add the second. In one of the long threads here, IIRC, Robains discusses same. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
August 20, 201411 yr Go into "Control Panel"\"Uninstall a program". Under the Microsoft entries you will (or should) see two SimConnect entries: Microsoft ESP SimConnect Client V1.0.20.0 Microsoft Flight Simulator SimConnect Client V10.0.61259.0 Do Not Click on it or it will start the removal process!! If you don't see the Flight Simulator SimConnect, here is how to install it from your P3DV2.X installation. P3D V2\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi Click on the .msi file, and it will install SimConnect version V10.0.61259.0 which is for FSX SP2 \Acceleration. The Accu-Sim A2A aircraft need this version even though you are running P3DV2.X. Again look at the Remove a Program to verify that you have both SimConnect versions installed. Your A2A aircraft should work correctly now. Hope this helps! Lyn
August 20, 201411 yr Author I checked and I do have those two version of SimConnect plus another which is Microsoft Flight Simulator SimConnect Client V10.0.61242.0 So in total I have three. Uninstalled and re installed the A2A planes and still no joy, also Accufeel wasnt able to be installed either.
August 21, 201411 yr I know you said you checked and already had SimConnect installed, but this thread on the Prepar3D support forum helped me. Might be worth a look. http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=5547
