August 24, 201411 yr Has anyone had good luck installing this aircraft. I bought it today and it does not want to install. Tries to install In C:Program files x86 under LM folder but offer no chance to redirect to Prepar3D folder. Am I missing something here? August 24, 201411 yr Moderator The installer uses the Registry entry for Prepared v2. Did you manually move your P3D installation? No you cannot "browse" (since there's no button), but you can still TYPE in whatever the actual path is to your P3Dv2 root folder. B) Fr. I did a poor job of asking the question...lol The installer did not see the P3Dv2 Install for some reason. It has always been on my z drive and other installs have found it fine. Anyway long story short...After pointing it to the correct folder got error code 1007 with the Avidyne screen. Just put in for a refund and moving on. No big deal just try to keep any software with these like kinks off my system these days. August 25, 201411 yr As mentioned the installer uses reg entry for LM P3DV2.3 in a default location which is usually on a C:Drive. In addition there are other files which need to be installed on that drive so now we know why the 1007 error was made. No matter now since you've applied for refund.. B)
