August 30, 201411 yr Hello, can someone tell me what step I am missing on landing the 737? II have a complete auto land set up, but the NGX never calls out the altitude. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Calvin
August 30, 201411 yr Calvin, The feature you are looking for has to be activated in the PMDG set up portion of the FMS. Gary R. .
August 30, 201411 yr Calvin, The feature you are looking for has to be activated in the PMDG set up portion of the FMS. Hello Gary Never worked for me also, I activated calls in FMS but never ran. I've thought about asking for help to support, but then forget. They only work in auto landing? João Alfredo It is impossible to please Greeks and Trojans É impossivel agradar Gregos e Troianos
August 30, 201411 yr ^^ Yeah they are activated in my FMC, but they still don't get called out... Thoughts?
August 30, 201411 yr Guys, The call outs will work in auto land and manual. The only other thing I can think of is to be sure you know that not only are there switches for every individual altitude call out, but also a switch for turning all of the callouts on or off. In the FMS it is found at-> PMDG Setup -> Aircraft -> Equipment -> page 8 (top of page) Gary R. .
August 30, 201411 yr They have always worked fine for me after setting each one up in the FMC, and I never use autoland. September 2, 201411 yr I think you're having the same problem as me. Sometimes when I paused FSX for a long time my NGX sounds are gone. Like the chime & seatbelts sign sound, recirc fans, (E)GPWS etc. To resolve this: FMC>menu>options>sounds>sound device. Now select another sound device and click on execute. Then select your original sound device again (+execute) and there you go ;-)
