September 3, 201411 yr Hello All ---- enjoying the Q400 for sure. I fly a lot in weather, and wondering if there is a way to control the "automated" turbulence that the Q400 has in clouds. Not all cloud structures produce turbulence. Possibly I have missed it, but what can I do to adjust or cut off turbulence?? Many Thanks --- ^_^ Bob Magill
September 3, 201411 yr Turbulence scalar: Controls the strength of turbulence effects; it is 0.75 by default but you may wish to turn this down to 0.45 if you're using ASN or experiencing exaggerated turbulence effects. The general consensus is that setting it to 1 results in unrealistically harsh turbulence. You will find the setting in the mjc84.ini file, just edit the number to suit your preference. Hope this helps. ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

September 4, 201411 yr ASN can overdo the turbulence effect in the Q400 and we've found that dialling it down to .30-.45 works very well. | Ben Weston www.airline2sim.com
