Before you try this wait for confirmation
I submitted a ticket to PMDG with a link to this thread. Your suggestion has been confirmed by Ryan Maziarz. I have deleted the FSUIPC.ini file and let FSX rebuild a new one. Since this issue only occurred infrequently, it is going to take a couple of weeks to see if it works but I will post the results in this thread no matter what.

Unfortunately, the FSUIPC.ini delete and rebuild did not work.

The joystick has been pulled back for takeoff and the elevators indicate a nose up position.

Strange one this one,  did you check outside view  to see if actually  the elevators were in the correct position, sounds like hardware  issues here. Other  than doing  a re install got no idea  why :Thinking:

Yes. In addition to checking the control movement in the VC, I went to Spot View and panned to the rear of plane and observed that all controls moved in the correct way including stabilizer trim.
