Is there a way to always have FS9 open in full screen? Many times after I create or select a flight the sim window opens in a small rectangle and I have to maximize it to get it in full screen.

Alt Enter keys usually do it. Mine always opens in full screen after using the title screen which is smaller with a black border.

Mine usually opens in full screen. However, I usually have to minimize the screen anyway to open other programs that I want for my flight, i.e. FDC, etc. I was having a consistent problem for a long time because I would experience a CTD whenever I would try to go back to full screen "ALT/Enter" after being minimized. I found a solution for this problem. I no longer use ALT/Enter I now use "ALT/TAB" with no more crashing when switching creens. This solution has worked great for me

In FS9.cfg, under the Main heading, set "HideMenuFullScreen" to 1 should do this for you.Larry S.

If you shut down with it in full screen, it will restart in full screen.If it's starting up in partial screen, that means you are shutting it down that way...Always shut down in full screen, "ctrl-C" if you want it to restart that way. MK

I'm still having a problem with FS9 opening to a small window. I guess what I'd like it to do is open up to the full size window, but also with the menu bar on top. FS2002 always did this with no problem. It seems like with FS9 most of the time, no matter how I close it, default flight or not, the next time I use it it's back to the small window. There must be a cure for this.
