Maps not showing

Featured Replies

In both FSX & X-Plane 10-30 Pilot2ATC does not display maps.  Doesn't matter if I'm connected to the sim or not.  Not connected is supposed to render the world map.  It doesn't, just a 404 error.  Any advice is appreciated.

Oops!  Select Map Mode ans street view works, but not satellite.

The 404 error means that the web site is not found.  This usually means the internet connection is down, but could also mean that the requested resource has been moved.

Assuming your internet connection is  good, try changing the map type.  Google maps may not work.  Try Bing Maps and Open Street Maps, they usually work.  You can change the map settings in the configuration window (Button with Wrench icon)

That worked Dave, Thanks.  I don't know why I didn't try that.
