How do I use the "Quick Look" feature with an Apple Keyboard?

Featured Replies

The "Quick Look" utility is described under the heading of USING THE QUICK LOOK FEATURE in the Manual.

By following the instructions I have no problem when using a PC keyboard.

However my Apple keyboard has no NUM Pad key (as required in the instructions) as the only numbers are along the top of the keyboard.

Is it possible to create a "Quick View" using the Apple keyboard?

I fly with an iMac 27 inch and X-Plane 10.30.

Change the key assignments inside the Joystick and Equipment config pages.

Benrussel may I ask you to guide me as I can't find NUM LOCK in the options in "Joystick and Equipment" under the Keys tab?

Or have I misunderstood you?

If i may, I think what he is referring to is to go into Joystick & Equipment > Keys and look for Numpad-0, Numpad-1, etc. on the left and reassign the view/quick_look_0, view/quick_look_1, etc. to other suitable keys that you do have. I may be wrong but I do believe this would work. Hope it helps....

I believe the CLEAR key is the numlock. I found it by hitting all of them nearby until I got the numpad to work.

No big deal.
