September 23, 201411 yr It looks like My Saitek X 52 Throttle and Joystick just bit the dust. The lights on the joystick flash at a regular five second interval and my planes have no controls. So unless someone can come up with an answer how to fix it, does anyone have a recommendation of a good throttle and joystick ? My controllers are several years old. Thanks
September 24, 201411 yr Well if you want my opinion on the best build quality joystick and throttle out there it's the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog. It is very well built and uses quality switches. It is quite heavy, I had my brother who is a fabricator weld up some steel mounting plates for it that I bolted to my desk. I would recommend this to anyone even if they don't fly DCS A-10C. It works well for me in FSX, P3D and X-Plane. Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?
September 24, 201411 yr What about the newer version in that same line line of joysticks, the Saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino HOTAS System?: http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/x55.html That's the one that I'll probably get when my X52 busts. Hope that helps! Cheers, Alex L. My Flight Sim Videos: www.AboveGroundLevel.org (Alex's Flying Club)
