Carenado to retrofit their old planes (GNS430 & Scroll Wheel)!

Recommended Posts

Awesome!

And I'll have to pay 5-9 dollars to get each of the updated installers from FSPilotShop.com.

I hope they don't count updates! Anyways, now we know who not to buy from in the future.

Ehm..I´ve got a very stupid question..I´ve purchased (Carenado shop) some of these planes, but where can I update them to 3.0? Or are they not real updates but new products? :-/

They are updates, you would just need to redownload the main installer.

Great news! I've received this e-mail:

New aircraft versions for X-Plane 10.30  With the last X-Plane update (to10.30) new features are now possible in our aircraft.

One of the most important new feature is related to the incorporation of the GNS 430 and GNS530.

We decided to update all our fleet to 10.30 (or higher).
We are calling this new version: version 3 (v3).

Most important features of this fleet update are:

-Aircraft will only be for X-Plane 10.30 (or higher).
-Those aircraft with an old default GPS will be updated to the new GNS430 or GNS530.
-Plugin-enhanced (SASL, 32-bit and 64-bit).
-FPS-optimized models.
-NEW! Scroll wheel support.

We will be updating by groups of 4 or 5 aircraft every 3 weeks.

Customers just have to re download their aircraft from Carenado´s site or from the site they bought it from.

These are the first 5 aircraft already updated:
  • Carenado M20J 201 X-Plane
  • Carenado PA32R 301 Saratoga SP X-Plane
  • Carenado C152 II X-Plane
  • Carenado PA28 181 Archer II X-Plane
  • Carenado C172N Skyhawk II X-Plane

Those updates are great! I installed all and I'm so amazed. If only the FSX counterparts could get their proper retrofit with the innovations brought by Carenado in their last planes.
