How to remove static aircraft from an aircraft scenery using ADE

Featured Replies

Let me start by saying I have zero experience when it comes to scenery design so bear with me...

I downloaded and installed FTXGLOBAL_EU_AIRPORTS_PACK5 from Orbx and would like to remove the static aircraft found at the airports included in this freeware pack. Someone told me it's possible to do that using Airport Design Editor but I don't even know where to start.

I've downloaded and installed ADE and I managed to load one of the bgl files for one of the airports included in the pack and I had the airport layout opened in ADE but I couldn't find anything what seemed to be related to the static aircraft models.

Could someone point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!

You will need to "import" the other bgls until you find the statics being displayed.

Not sure about how ORBX placed the aircraft, but there are usually object files in the scenery folder that you can remove to get rid of static aircraft.  Easier than editing the scenery itself.
