$50 Sim or $2000 Sim ?

Featured Replies

I agree with that completely. Indeed I think one of the most impressive aspects of the program is the expandability, and from that the range and quality of add-ons.Programs like the PMDG aircraft, Meshs, FSUIPC, Radar Contact, online aiir traffic control and the myriad of others, in the end wouldnt be possible if it wasnt for the open way this program is done. Sure there are others that are open and easily attached to, but nothing on this scale.Sure I have spent a small fortune on my system, I have a huge P4 system, a projector, big monitor, 3 other PCs running other programs like weather etc, a room thats now dedicated to the task and last but not least some exquisite add-ons like PMDG/Dreamfleet and other aircraft.... I agree its been a $2000 sim but I have the central $50 component to than for that, the fun of building it, the joy I get flying it all comes from one of the cheapest components that sits at the center but in the end is the lynch pin for all the rest to work....Should it have come with some of these items? Maybe, but its $50 bucks for lords sake, I mean I have other games that cost that much and while they are excellent they dont have this expandability or the ability to BECOME a $2000 system...
