I recently took a flight on a AA 737NG to Altanta at night and was amazed how wonderful all the city lights looked on approach. What would be a nice solution to improve the night ground lighting of FS9 so it looks closer to reality. Not trying to be fuzzy about FS9 by the way. I used to love it more than my girlfriend. But now I am marring her I can't make that statement anymore.thanks in advance.Jason Zhang

There are a number of night lights texture replacements in the library.Installing a roads addon like American Data or USA Roads will greatly enhance night scenery. Check out the most stunning night lighting yet in Ultimate Terrain Alaska/Canada (payware). Instead of lighting the textures, pinpoints of light are positioned 40 or so feet above roadways to simulate light poles. They are heavily concentrated along freeways and arterials in cities. I agree that Ultimate Terrain by Fligh1 offers right now the best night lighting but it is payware. There are also some freeware solutions - by Chris Arrington or Chris Willis - you can find their packages in Avsim library. No Jason,FS Global I believe is terrain mesh, whereas Ultimate Terrain adds lanclass, accurate shorelines/coastlines, and night lighting. A high resolution mesh will of course enhance Ultimate Terrain.
