problem with upsvac.com

Featured Replies

i've recently joined this very nice virtual airline, but i cannot get to their site anymore.i've cleared the temporary internet files, deleted the cookies, cleaned the cache, shutdown zone alarm pro,avg and spyware blaster, have ran ad-aware & spybot s&d,which came up empty.lowered the securitysettings to nil,etc etc.finally,i've done a tracert in a command prompt, which told me it could not find www.upsvac.com,when i entered a ping,it too came up empty.i have now for three days tried everything i could think of,but to no avail.so,i ask you, what can be wrong, and how is it possible that others CAN goto the site, whilst i cannot?it's not like i misspell the adress :)tataJP.

that is exactly what i mean.i used to be able to get there, but, since a few days even google doesn't show them to me.http://www.upsvac.com :can't get therehttp://www.upsvac.com/upsv2 :can't get thereand the list goes on,not a single part of the site can be reached by me.there is no way to get on that site, their forums, etc for me.even the brown box(their acars program) does not get a connection.hence me asking, again:why?as i have heard from several people they CAN get to it,but i cannot.that annoys me,particularly because i have done everything i can think of.so,again:ideas anyone?every known antispyware program has scanned my computer,my avg,zap and spywareblaster have been running and have been shut down,i've configured my modem 20 times, history, cache, temporary internetfiles have all been cleaned.cookies were deleted, etcetc.so:what causes a person to NOT be able to see a site the rest of the world can see?thanks in advance, tataJP.

possibly something to do with your security settings? Or try changing the settings on your temp internet files to "every visit to the page". tools... internet options... settings

>what causes a person to NOT be able to see a site the rest of>the world can see?>Routing trouble. Your ISP may have a bad DNS record for them.Or maybe their hosting provider has blocked a range of IP addresses (including yours) from accessing their servers after an attack from inside that range.Or just pure bad luck. I've had periods when entire countries were unavailable because the main pipe between my ISP and the main internet access routers in those countries was severed.
