Just noticed this number on the top right hand corner.Never seen it before and it's getting annoying.Sure it's somekind of FPS counter but I don't know how to switch it off.Tried Shift-z but it didn't work.Any ideas?.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/113404.jpg

do you have frpas running or some other video/screen capture utility?

I've recently install ATI TRAY TOOLS but I'm not running any Benchmarking or activated anything like that.

ATI TRAY TOOLS seems to be the culprit.Uninstalled it and now everything back to normal.Airborn again!.:-)
