Loss of sound

Is there any way of "resetting" the voice? Lost FOs voice after "Before taxi check" and he does his commands but no response.
In the 737 it was possible to reset it by first deselecting voice then activate it again in the control panel (in fsx)

Are you using a Plantronics headset by chance?

You can reset the "Voice" by doing this... note the last button where it mentions 'right clicking'.

VOICE:

  • Toggles Voice Control OFF and ON.
  • If in the OFF position, Button Control is automatically active.  Note that it will take a few moments for the speech recognition to unload and FSX may appear to freeze.
  • If you attempt to activate Voice Control and the Voice Button does not stay on, there is a problem with your Speech Recognition setup.  Mostly likely you forget to set your speech recognizer to ENGLISH - US.
  • IMPORTANT:  You can only toggle this button ONCE per flight.  This is to prevent people from repeatedly loading and unloading the speech recognition engine, which may cause FSX to crash.  However, should you need to UNLOCK the Voice Button so you can toggle it again, you can do so by RIGHT CLICKING the Voice Button.

Exactly the same thing here turtle beach headset, only click sounds no voices at all. Toggling voice on/off doesn't work and I have tried the trouble shooting bit at the beginning of the manual. Just completed my first flight. Hopefully the reboot will fix it.
