Install MTX 5.4C...how to remove default traffic

Featured Replies

I installed MTX 5.4C. Went on to delete the "trafficAircraft.bgl" & "trafficAircraft.bgl.passive" and I still see them. I see regular default traffic, and MTX traffic. Any help on how I can remove the default traffic?

simply rename the trafficaircraft.blg to . bak thats all you need to do

Did you install any addon airports or other scenery that included traffic.bgl's for those airports/scenery?  If so you need to get rid of those traffic.bgl's.

A tool is available in the MTX forums that will look for traffic.bgl's and then you know where they are and you can disable them or delete them, your choice.

Just delete trafficAircraft.bgl as that is your default traffic. MTX already renamed it to trafficAircraft.bgl.passive so no need to keep the trafficAircraft.bgl. If you want your default traffic back, remove .passive from the trafficAircraft.bgl. You must have reinstalled or repaired FSX as it reinstalled your default traffic.
