Hawaiian hula trip

If anyone is not completely sated flying wise and in the absence of any alternatives I offer you a trip round glorious islands set in a shimmering sea....You get the idea.

No Skyvector.

FSX FLIGHT PLAN

I'll suggest the Ryan Navion by LDR Developments. A freeware aircraft that, if you don't already have it, will surprise you by it's quality.

DOWNLOAD it HERE     (click 'Download' top right corner)

I've made a couple of paints for it:

HERE

and HERE

I shall be using another paint for it which I'm just putting the finishing touches to.

HERE  is the paint I shall be using on Saturday.

EDIT to the OP. I put the note beside the wrong link. It should have been next to the flight plan link.

Whilst not the biggest turnout we've ever had, nevertheless we were a fine upstanding bunch of intrepid aviators. Full of bonhomie and good cheer not to mention merry banter. You should have been there. We finished our flight and bade each other farewell with just the hint of moist eye. :Sigh:

With a moist eye,

I must admit the Saturdays will be a missed thing, not only myself, but maybe other participants have the same feeling.  I do miss it... No posting, No Overlooker (Duenna) , No rules... Except for basic pilotage. There IS something going on, and it is good. So is the Saturday session.

It is NOT (hopefully not Ron) over, just on the "back burner" for now.

Thanks for everything.

Regards,

Roman

Not to worry Roman. I'm pretty sure the farewell was just to Saturday's flight participants until the next one.

While Ron took great care and evidently took quite a lot of time and effort researching and selecting the airports, including our starting point, it was Josh who provided the very informative commentary on the route.  Nothing trumps first hand local knowledge and experience. :good:  I will play the "you should'a been there" card, you missed one of my famous gear-up arrivals.

Yes Roman, Saturday night's all right for fightin'. I had an idea for next Saturday, Yosemite and the surrounding area. How does that sound?

Oh, and as 'gear up' landings go, that one was a DeuZie!
