"Captain: Off" constantly appearing

For some reason FS2Crew keeps thinking I am saying "off" when my mic is turned off and hard mute is on. What could be the issue? It is annoying having that green line at the top showing up every 30 seconds.

For some reason FS2Crew keeps thinking I am saying "off" when my mic is turned off and hard mute is on. What could be the issue? It is annoying having that green line at the top showing up every 30 seconds.

 

Try adjusting your mic sensitivity.

 

Also, Hard Mute/ Soft Mute does not stop the speech recognition system from "hearing" things.

 

It only stops the FO from acting on what words are detected.

OK thank you. I ended up just unchecking "DSP" in the control panel and all is well.
