November 12, 201411 yr Hi I am not sure if anyone else seems to have this problem, but when I am using the 1/2 VSYNC setting I am getting a flickering whilst changing views. I also get a stutter like a delay when I change views in high end a/c such as PMDG/AEROSOFT AIRBUS. Is their any way I can stop this or at least reduce it?. Regards Chris Harwood
November 12, 201411 yr I read on one of the forums recently that someone solved a similar problem by limiting frame rates to 29 rather than 30 and found an improvement simply because 29 is under 1/2 of the Hz output of the monitor. Not sure whether there is any mileage in this, but maybe worth a try. November 13, 201411 yr I had the exact same issue with real bad flickering at 1/2 refresh. In NVIDIA inspector I set the v sync to Force on and set my frames to unlimited in fsx. I don't get any flickering whatsoever. At heathrow and jfk with scenery, full sliders, full traffic with ### AI, I get between anywhere between 17-25 fps. I finally have my system running great after months and months of tweaking I have it where I want it. And I'm only running an i5 2500k at 4.5 ghz with a evga 560 ti. I was going to upgrade to a 970 but what for? I don't think I'll notice a huge upgrade. Unless I'm wrong? The i5 2500k is a beast

November 13, 201411 yr I've tried 85 100 144 find it a bit stuttery. I'm now at 60hz, force on but not sure what to set frames at 60 or unlimited. Vernon Howells
