I'll just go straight to the point. What are your favorite places you've found exploring Alaska?

Personally, I like the SE around Ketchikan, Gustavus, Annette Island, and all the way up to Homer. Just more to sightsee for me.

I like SE Alaska also, but I'd add in Kodiak Island as well. 

The North Slope looks a bit stark in Flight. ( Perhaps because it looks stark in reality also? )

I love PAVD (Valdez). There are some nice locals flights around the Valdez area, including down to Cordova.
