Can someone tell me how to remove the warnings for parking brake, brake, over speed, etc. From the lower left hand window?

I believe the way of doing it in FSX also applies to FS9. In your simulator's configuration file under DISPLAY, adjust the following lines by adding TRUE or FALSE after the equal (=) sign:

 

InfoBrakesEnable=(true or false)

InfoParkingBrakesEnable=(true or false)

etc.

 

Example: InfoBrakesEnable=false

Bill Lyon's payware (now freeware) G21 Grumman Goose contains a modified language.dll that removes these messages. Don't know if it is included in the re-released freeware model, but it's worth a try (and you get a great amphibian bird to boot).

... and if you want to get rid of any and all onscreen messages (for example, when taking a video clip), I did one that removes everything:

language.zip at flightsim.com
