Props Visability in FSX

Featured Replies

I realize that the R-4D for FS9 was ported to FSX with a few patches to make it more compat with FSX but in most cases of such conversions I've noticed that

the props will disappear behind the clouds. This is something that would have to be changed in the MDL file and I doubt that is has been changed for FSX.

Any plans on trying for a True Native FSX version?

You are correct in suspecting the prop problem is in the model, this is a common issue with FS9 port overs.  The 7th edition is the last version to be released and featured a fully clickable virtual cockpit, but I do not know if the prop was fixed.
