Yes, during the approach brief and/or with the approach checks you will look at the ECAM Status page and that will tell you the capability of the aircraft (if it says normal, it means fully capable, CAT3B)

 

 

On the approach chart.

Thanks a lot Ian! But can we see the CAT of our approach in the cockpit? Somewhere else than the approach chart (on the screens)? Of course, you know the capability of the aircraft....if you can do a CAT III, you can do a CAT II.... So in the FMGS?

If the pilots use EFBs/tablets it will still be the charts in the computers on the flightdeck that state the types of the available approaches. After all it's still the pilots who are in command of airplanes, not computers (wishful thinking on my part, I know ...)   :nea:
