November 27, 201411 yr Hello All! I've been recently recording with FRAPS on FSX, like yesterday. I had SquawkBox running, as well as fraps and FSX. I lost about 10-15 framerate when recording, and when I am recording, if I click something to many times, it crashes. Could someone help me get better Framerate? Thanks
November 27, 201411 yr Check out the AVSIM CTD Guide located to the right of this forum under Hot Spots. You should submit an AppCrashView report to see what might be causing the crash(es). If you are having fps problems with FRAPS, you might post that problem on the FSX Forum. It's my understanding that all of the fsx recorders, like FRAPS and FS Recorder, will cause fps to suffer but I do not know that for sure as I have never recorded a flight.
