Your reasoning has merit but consider the downside of a developer having to rely on an external entity that they have no control over for the quality of their product.

But if they regard it as a patch which fixes a problem in the FSX friction tables by inserting the correct Boeing values, which it is, then there should be no problem. The mod is clearly in the control of respected and capable experts.

Are there any disadvantages of the dynamic friction script? I can´t see negative aspects if this mod makes the taxi etc. more realistic.
