Tony Wroblewski's (W2XP) XPOK, Pocklington Airfield, UK

Featured Replies

Tony recently asked if any one had the Flight1 UK VFR Photoscnery and if so could they show how well it fits with a couple of his airfields as he was considering purchasing the software. This is a great little airport just outside of York in NE England and well worth downloading. I made this short video for him. It shows how well W2XP can work with photoscenery, paritculalry the Flight1 scenery which is consistently good across England and Wales (Scotland not included) and includes water masks around the coast and a very detailed mesh. Have included some screenshots as well around LIverpool, Anglesey and Snowdonia in the second link.

Sky Maxx Pro 2.1 sky and clouds, HDR off.

So for any of you who fly the UK these links give a very good idea of jsut how realisitc England and Wales can look.

Looks nice and neat.

Which bird ?

Carenado CT206H Staionaire v3 - it flies beautifully. Have compared to A2A 182 in P3D - in terms of sheer flying enjoyment much prefer 206 - it is so fluid in XP.
