Pan View not working in some planes with FSUIPC

Featured Replies

I finally assigned all my controls etc in FSUIPC.Unchecked enable controllers is FSX.I assigned my hat switch button to pan view and it works in some planes but not others.I go to buttons and switches assignments for each plane(not airplane specific) hit the hat switch and everything is checked and pan view is in the box exactly as in the planes that it is working in.I still have it assigned in FSX controls and when I enable controllers it works for all planes.Has to be something simple I am missing?Nothing is ever simple for me here. Thanks,Ron

One further comment. In the planes it does not pan,it moves a click in each direction when I try to pan.If I keep clicking it keeps moving.I tried checking the box about repeating but that did not help and it is not checked in the planes that it is working in.Thanks,Ron

My CH yoke left hat switch is set in FSUIPC to pan in 8 directions. I have, unlike you, set this as the default action for all aircraft.

To be sure:

- In FSUIPC you have checked the 'Profile specific?" box

- For, say, a left pan, when you move the hat switch left the box below says "Pan left"

- You have checked the "Control  to repeat while held" box, and lastly

- Is it possible you have assigned another command to this hat switch movement that is causing a conflict?

Thanks for the reply.I have only 1 hat switch on my CH yoke and it is on right side.I do not use the profile option in FSUIPC.Except for the levers on my Saitek throttle quadrants all assignments are for all planes. The hat switch works properly in some planes and not others. When I assign it in one that it is not working in it does not show a conflicting assignment. The control to repeat box is not checked in the the planes that it is working properly, however I have checked it in the ones it is not working in and it makes no difference.Same problem. Thanks,Ron

You posted the same question in my support forum hours ago and I replied 30 or so minutes later. What was wrong with my answer?
