November 30, 201411 yr I am currently using three types of models in X-Plane 10. When I use the Carenados, I use number of flight models per frame = 2, the artificial stability sliders at 0% ( full left ), and the joystick response curves a bit exponential..., I also increase a bit my graphics settings. When I use the XView Boeing 744, meant to be used only as a dumb Boeing model, totally driven by Aerowinx PSX, I set flight models per frame = 1 ( it could be 0 ), and the joystick settings have no meaning, the Sound is set to OFF, time and weather settings are disabled, because everything is controlled by PSX, through the XView plugin... When today I downloaded and installed the EXCELLENT XPFR Sbach, I had to set the flightmodels per frame at 3, the Artificial Stability sliders at 100% ( full right ) and only the rudder throw at 20%, as well as some lower than usual graphics settings... It would be great if this settings could be stored in specific profiles, by categories or associated with particular aicraft models. Just emailed Austin with the idea :-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
December 1, 201411 yr I agree with you, but "good luck". There are so many things we have all been begging for (literally) for years with XP development. They just seem to do whatever they (or Austin) are in the mood for. But, yes, your suggestion would be a superb addition, I agree 100%
December 1, 201411 yr you can always try x-Assign and x-SavePluginStatus by barbarossa. Without doing everything you're asking, it can save your controllers configurations (including artificial stability and response curve) your views and plugins status for all your aircraft.
December 1, 201411 yr Author Wasn't completely unaware of x-Assign and x-SavePlugiStatus. Thank you guys for your answers! Austin is thinking about it, although he presented some arguments against the idea...
