A couple of problems with my new B55

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

A couple of days ago I acquired the Milviz B55 for P3DV2 and I'm quite happy with it so far. Used to fly a RL C55 for charter (some years ago now), so this stirs a few memories.

Anyway, I have a couple of things I can't work out:

1. The Post Lights seem to illuminate only a single gauge at the far right of the panel ("Anti Ice"). Everything else is dark (and nowhere near that lovely night panel screen shot on the Milviz home page.

2. Ditto, my landing lights just show that awful FSX "cone", not the overlapping spots shown on the screen shots.

3. The Stormscope ... tried all the settings, but all I get is the scanning lights. Just did a couple of hours night flying in PNG (old stomping ground) with storms all around me (using ASN), but nothing on the scope.

I've got a pretty high end system, with everything turned towards the high end (textures etc), FTXG, REX4, ASN...

Oh, and I have the F1 GTN add-on as well.

Anyone experiencing the same or have answers?

Thanks

Gunther

An update to the above. Just did another night landing, and confirmed that the landing lights are in fact spots, and for some reason they look better in the B55 than the E55, which are still somewhat cut-off.

Press the "A" key several times in the VC view. This will show the three lighting controls. Lower Left knob controls the main gauge backlighting.

Stormscope is a dummy. Not implemented.

I thought that was the title of this forum: "The MILVIZ Support Forum"? I searched both the MILVIZ "Support Forum" (for which one can't register easily) and everywhere else that google can see.

Thank you. I did find the light switches, but as stated, when I turn on the post lights only the "Anti Ice" gauge is actually lit (plus the clock on the yoke).

Ok, thanks. I saw this and thought maybe it was working.
